A Life Saving Letter

Dear Friend,
You are being loved on today! I know you’ve been through heartache and sadness. I know you been in pain and need to forgive yourself. I know you’ve struggled with finances and raising a family. But I’m here to tell you that I’ve been through those exact same things. I still go through those things, but I don’t worry about what may or may not happen, because I’ve got JESUS and he gives me peace.
Just think of not having to worry or stress, you can be content where you are and be filled with peace. You can feel the love of God through your body, changing your mind and giving you a new beginning. He loves you sooooo much that he sent his son (think about someone you love soooo much) to die (accused, beaten, hung with nails on a cross) for you, yes you. Because he loves you and wants to make you new again; his blood, the blood that was spilt was for you, covers your sins (bad things you done) and now you are whiter than snow (pure, brand new, a restart, changeover). “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only son, that whosoever believed in him should not perish, but have eternal life”, John 3:16.
All you need to do is ask God to come into your heart, believe that he died for your sins and confess your sins to him. Here, say it with me:
God, I want to live for you. Please come and live in my heart. I believe you died for me and I am sorry for all the wrong things I have done. Please forgive me. I know you love me soooo much. Amen!
That’s it! Try to find a church to go to, if you are not sure, ask friends or come to Revolution Church in Gastonia. We would love to have you.
Living for God is not hard, just remember the greatest commandment: “Love the Lord with all your soul, with all you heart and with all your mind and with all your strength”, Mark 12:2 (love him above all else, people and things). Another one is to love your neighbor as yourself (neighbor being anyone, treating someone like you want to be treated).”Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against one of your people, but love you neighbor as yourself. I am the Lord”, Leviticus 19:18. Read your bible! You can read it on the computer (biblegateway.com), phone (YouVersion), listen to it on CD, or read the book. You can learn a lot from reading a book. Lifeway Christian Book Store is a great resource. You can also find bible study groups within your church or friends or community.
God has your future in his hands and he is ready to release you into it. Are you ready? Let him lead you, walk his path for you and everything will be awesome and exciting. Enjoy his adventure for your life!
“For I know the plans I have for you”, declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future”. Jeremiah 29:11
Your friend in Christ and praying for you always, Lola.

Written in 2014, it still hold true everyday!
