Today I had a conversation with my littles at school about how girls don’t chase or pursue boys. I have a couple of girls who like boys and have gotten mad because the boys don’t like them. These girls have tried everything to get these boys attention, but are only disappointed in the end. The boys are frustrated and angry that the girls won’t stop. That’s when I stepped in.
I said, “He doesn’t like you, he doesn’t like you! If he liked you, he would be after you, pursuing you! All you’re doing is making him mad at you and not wanting to be your friend. What you need to do is:
- Get an education
- Get a career you love
- Get a house of your own
- Get a car of your own
- Get a life YOU love, THEN,
The right guy will FIND you, chase you, pursue you AND YOU get to choose. Boys the same goes for you. When YOU get your life RIGHT and READY, then you can FIND the girl who will choose YOU.
WOW! So much wisdom in my own words for me to them. I need to start taking my own advice. It’s right on point and on time. Thank you self for making me a stronger person by listening to my heart, my mind and my gut. And thank you to my littles for my ‘Soap Box’ talks that enlighten us and help us to grow.
