It hasn’t been that long,
I don’t know what to say.
But it’s your Birthday,
And I feel sad today.
I usually call to sing,
But you’re no longer there.
You went to be with Jesus,
So it’s a little hard to bear.
I know you’re having fun,
In heaven, it’s the place
To be with all our loved ones
And see them face to face.
We miss you here, especially today
On this day that you were born.
