Protect Your Heart!

Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.   Proverbs 4:23

Friend Story!  

I have a friend who decided to conversate with a person online.  Someone she did not know nor had not met in person.  They talked for a couple of days when he asked her for money.   She told him “no” and he said ok.  They continued talking for a few more days about each other and he gave her some sad story about his family (single dad) and how his birthday was coming up.  He proceeded to say that he wished he could get presents and wanted one from her. RED FLAGS went up for her at that point.  She ended it after a week of conversations with this dude.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Protect your heart!  You have a conscience , use it!  You know right from wrong, stand by it!  There is a difference between being alone and lonely.  You were made for more.  God has your man or woman chosen for you.  Stop going out looking for someone to complete you.  God is the only person who can complete you!  

Live your purpose while waiting for God’s gift of your person.  Spend time with your Heavenly Father and let him lead you to all the wonderful places you’ll be able to talk about with your person.  Let Him fill you with peace, joy and the knowledge to be able to stay away from the people who are not your person; it’s His gift to you!  He loves you!
