Testimony Time
Today at Church during alter call, our Pastor was praying for his wife and asked my sisters (both pianists) to pray for her. As they’re praying, God speaks to me, “I need you to play, I need you to play.” I was thinking, “I don’t know what to play”! He said, “I’ve got a song for you, now go play!”
I got up and went to the piano not looking at anyone because I was so scared. I sat and began to play the song God gave me. I messed up a few times but after playing a few minutes, it sounded really good. I played scared. I trusted God. I obeyed his calling. And a Miracle took place. I haven’t played a piano in 6 or 7 years. But today in God’s obedience, I played.
The lesson I learned was that God will give you the tools you need Even If you’ve not practiced, don’t know how, never did it before and if you’re scared. All you need is God ‘s power and your obedience, then you will succeed. Think about David and Goliath or Moses parting the sea. Not their own strength or power, but God’s and their obedience.
God is calling you to greater things, things you may not realize you can do. But he needs you to do them. He needs you to bring his children home. Be brave and scared, but be willing. Your obedience will bring miracles into your life AND into the lives of others you lead to God!
