Did you know that you are in the Bible? Did you know that the life you live right now was written in the Bible? You are and it is!
The Bible was written a long time ago and even before it was written down, it was being lived out by other people. You could be Sarah, Rebecca, Ruth or Esther. You could be Noah, Boaz, Peter or David. You could be anyone in the Bible. The life you live out now could be anyone and it could change within your lifetime. It’s the Living Word.
God is living inside of you and you are living this life, therefore you are living out the Bible in your life. It is your guidepost, your map, your GPS, your Google Maps! It is your life! Read it and find you. Where are you? Who are you? Where are you going? How exciting to follow yourself and figure out where you’re headed and what you should be doing.
Think about it. Hymns we used to sing were written a long time ago. Those same hymns have touched the lives of people for many years. Those same hymns touch the lives of people today. Hymns written about God and the situations people have gone through are being lived out right now in your life, your family’s life, your friend’s life. It touches and covers whatever situation you’re going through. It is because of the Living Word of God.
He is omnipresent. He is the I AM. He is here, right now! He doesn’t leave. He pursues. He Loves. He loves you enough to remind you through His Living Word that He is still here, living and He can help you through anything.
The Living Word is your constant. It is your reminder that you are here on purpose, for a purpose, God’s purpose. Just like everyone who has ever lived.
Dear God, I love you. I know you pursue me and I’m ready to surrender to you. I accept you as my Savior. I believe you died on the cross for me. I confess my sins and want you to help me live out my life as your Living Word. Live in me the way you have lived in others in the Bible. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
