self-care, students

No Title Needed

Of all the things a Teacher has to deal with, worrying about the health of a student should not be one of them, but it is. I have a little on life support after heart surgery.

I feel helpless. I’m in contact with mom and she updates me every few days. I am grateful for that. This student is still apart of our class and a big part of our hearts. Every week, we make her cards and send her videos so she will know we love and miss her. Right now, prayers are needed and are essential for her and her family.

My self care right now is silent moments, prayers and music. Writing cards and staying positive for everyone, including all my other students. Being still before the Lord and allowing his will to be done.

If you could say a prayer for her, thank you! Love knows no bounds. Miracles happen every day.
