Greatly Blessed and Highly Favored

This week I am Greatly Blessed and Highly Favored! It is Teacher Appreciation Week, my Birthday Week and Mother’s day. God knew that I would be ALL these things, these people! He knew that it would be my purpose to be born, be a Mom and be a Teacher. What a blessing it is to be celebrated in ALL these things that are about ME!

My Heavenly Father KNEW me before I was ever conceived. He knew who I was, who I was going to be, where I’d be, who’d I be with. He loved me as He held me in his hands to mold my unshaped body into the beauty he gave my parents. He let me make my decisions, but protected me, held my hand, lead me and grew me into a lovely, beautiful, caring, serving, loving, protective, intelligent Mom and Teacher. Our story: Psalm 139 tells it all:

Psalm 139:1-18 (my favorite)

For the director of music. Of David. A psalm.

¹ You have searched me, Lord,
    and you know me.
² You know when I sit and when I rise;
    you perceive my thoughts from afar.
³ You discern my going out and my lying down;
    you are familiar with all my ways.
⁴ Before a word is on my tongue
    you, Lord, know it completely.
⁵ You hem me in behind and before,
    and you lay your hand upon me.
⁶ Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
    too lofty for me to attain.

⁷ Where can I go from your Spirit?
    Where can I flee from your presence?
⁸ If I go up to the heavens, you are there;
    if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.

⁹ If I rise on the wings of the dawn,
    if I settle on the far side of the sea,

I am His and He is mine. You are His and He is yours. Know Him the way He knows you! Let Him lead in your life and lead you into the everlasting. He is your father and friend. Your Savior, Protector and Provider! He loves you and me. We ALL, therefore, are greatly blessed and highly favored because God loves us so much!
