Perfection will never be reached on Earth. Christians know this. We strive to be Holy! We are messy, broken, and undone. We need Jesus to live our lives daily.
Stop judging us and saying how we are not living for Christ. Are you actually living for Christ? Are you Holy? If you’re still here on Earth, you’re not perfect! When you die, will the movie of your life be blameless? Will it show that you did nothing wrong as a Christian? We make mistakes, we fall, we get angry, we live worldly, we say inappropriate things, but we have a God who forgives us when we ask Him to. A God who still loves us, who still comforts us, heals us, provides for us, takes care of us. He knows we will never be sinless! That’s why He died on the cross for us and took away our sins. When we confess, He forgives us because He loves us. Sometimes daily, hourly, or minute by minute.
God sent the Holy Spirit to live in us, to remind us in our daily walk with God. It’s a relationship, not a religion. Stop thinking you’re the person to condemn everyone of their sin when you sin, too.
(Matthew 7:1-3)“Do not judge, or you will be judged. For with the same judgment you pronounce, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. Why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but fail to notice the beam in your own eye?
You are not better, you are just as sinful as me or anyone else. Whether famous or not, Christians are people who love God, follow God, live for God and need forgiveness daily. You are the judge and jury over a person’s life, except your own. Are you living a sinless life? Do you ask God for forgiveness of your sins? Are you living a blameless life? Are you following Christ?
As a Christian, you are purposed to LOVE God and LOVE others.
(Matthew 22:36-40)“Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
Those are YOUR commandments from God. Are you following those? Do you Love God and Love others when you are condemning them? Are you a Christian when you place blame? We ALL sin and come short of the glory of God!
(Romans 3:22-26) There is no difference between Jew and Gentile, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate his righteousness, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished— he did it to demonstrate his righteousness at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus.
You are not blameless. You will NEVER be perfect here on Earth! Neither are they.
Love them, pray for them, forgive them. That’s what Christians do for each other. That’s what you need to do for them instead of blaming them, calling out their sin and condemning them. Be the Christian God has called you to be; a loving and forgiving Christian.
