There is always someone in your circle of family or close friends who tries to shoot down your dream. They listen to it, but give you a sense or tell you that you’re not good enough or smart enough to conquer anything other than what you are doing now.
But I’m here to tell you that you don’t need them! Lots of times, it takes someone from the outside to see you for who you really are. Someone who doesn’t really know you, someone who sees you to be more than who you are right now. It could be a colleague, a neighbor, a Teacher, a Trainer, a stranger, or it could be just YOU!
Sometimes it takes others to cheer-lead for you. Sometimes, it’s just you! Don’t quit! Don’t give up! Don’t give in! Keep going! Keep believing! Keep trying! You are destined for great things! Believe in yourself! You can do this! WE can do this! Affirm Yourself! Repeat it daily!
God has destined you, purposed you for greater things. He put inside you dreams that He and you alone can and need to fulfill for His kingdom. People are counting on YOU to make your dreams a reality so they are can live freely! Your dream is something you love and are really good at. It will be out of your comfort zone. It will take hard work! It may take months or years! But it’s yours! Claim it! Rejoice in it! You are a life-changer!
During our morning meetings at school, we say affirmation statements to each other face-to-face. We say: I love you, I believe in you, You are destined for great things, Don’t give up, You are purposed! It is important to tell yourself and others how important you are, that you matter and you are here on purpose, for a purpose. It is very important that you believe in yourself!
Dream your BIG dreams! Plan your BIG plans! Conquer those BIG obstacles! You are not alone! If it’s in your heart and you think about it all the time! It’s YOURS! Go get it!
